Illustrator Aiyana Udesen sketches the Bejeweled grid in color pencil. Last year, Udesen’s portraits were exhibited at Los Angeles’ excellent comic book shop Secret Headquarters.

In between reading grown up books for work and some of the prettier blogs on things like design & typography I'm enjoying a very sill genre of books mashing up sci-fi & horror with existing books ( these guys started it ). I'm currently reading Mr Darcy, Vampire and I've Queen Victoria Demon Hunter & Seanse and Sensibility & Sea monsters waiting for me after that. I also spotted a trailer for this on i09 earlier... One to add to the Amazon wishlist I think.
